All reprogramming solutions offered by WOT are homologable, which means they comply with the strict standards in force in the European Union, particularly in terms of emissions. They are verified by a renowned inspection body, namely TÜV Rheinland AG.
We are in the process of establishing partnerships with local entities to provide you with a comprehensive homologation process in your country.
In the meantime, WOT is more than willing to provide you with a homologable reprogramming for your vehicle through a test report, the "Prüfbericht".

Thanks to our trusted partners, we are proud to offer you a complete homologation procedure for your vehicle.
All reprogramming solutions offered by WOT are homologable, which means they comply with the strict standards in force in the European Union, particularly in terms of emissions. They are verified by a renowned inspection body, namely TÜV Rheinland Luxembourg S.à r.l.
Thanks to an exclusive Luxembourgish procedure, WOT handles the complete administrative process for the vehicle after reprogramming, without the need to present the vehicle to SNCA.

We have been in discussions with the authorities of several European countries to legally offer our reprogramming in all 27 EU member states. While this process is time-consuming, it is bearing fruit, as evidenced by our established partnerships in various countries.

It is constantly equipped with the latest technological advances and in terms of performance, and is always among the best in its class. The latest version of this engine is no exception to this rule.
Also proposed for vehicles with longitudinal engines, it offers a wide range of engines ranging from 204 to 265 hp and can even be combined with micro-hybridization (48V).
This 4th generation of the 2.0 T(F)SI engine made its debut with the launch of the Golf VIII GTI in early 2020.
However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the production and delivery of the first vehicles fitted with this engine were disrupted. It was not until the last quarter of 2021 that these vehicles equipped with the 2.0 were able to be delivered in large numbers worldwide.
Before starting the development of the 2.0 TSI EA888.4 engine (fourth generation), it is necessary to access the engine control unit data.
For the second consecutive generation, Continental has been chosen as the supplier to exploit this new engine.
Even though we are accustomed to working with the previous generation’s Simos 18 engine management, this new generation ECU, known as the Simos 19, brings new specifications and security measures. In accordance with the new European standard, this ECU cooperates with a secure gateway that filters communications.
All these security measures have made access to ECU data more difficult.
It was not until October 2022 that the AutoTuner engine reprogramming tool found a solution around these protections, thus allowing thousands of users to implement this protocol and start their own development. And what a development!
This opportunity proved exceptional for the WOT team, as it allowed us to launch an ambitious development project. This project included the design of a brand-new engine, an all-new vehicle, as well as a revolutionary ECU.
More precisely, the longitudinal engine with micro-hybridization had a specific variant of the Simos19 (Simos19.7), which added an extra layer of complexity to our approach.
Our decision to develop this longitudinal variant sought to demonstrate our expertise by taking up the challenge on all 888.4 engines, not just those with a transverse configuration.
Since these vehicles are not designed to dominate the race circuits, we focused our efforts on the first WOT power evolution, without seeking to create WOT-2 or 3 versions. We estimated that the increase in power obtained with a simple WOT reprogramming was already noteworthy, especially for versions limited to 204 hp, whose power reaches 300 hp after optimization. This transformation morphs the vehicle and offers an incomparable driving experience compared to the original.
We select the vehicle which combines the most significant criteria contributing to pollution, in particular: consumption, weight, air resistance (drag coefficient) and type of transmission. For this EA888.4 DMT engine, we opted for the Audi A6 45 TFSI (2.0) MHEV model. If the vehicle successfully passes the numerous pollution tests, the official verification body can logically conclude that the other, less polluting models in the range will also obtain positive results. This is why, within WOT, such importance is given to the engine code.
At WOT, we invest heavily in research and development to provide you with an experience where performance and reliability go hand in hand. However, it is possible that during a routine inspection, the manufacturer has detected that your vehicle has undergone modifications. Even if the improvements made by WOT are homologated, this detection can lead to the loss of the factory warranty.
For this reason we have created an additional motor warranty, specifically designed to meet your highest demands.
